Expedicionários da Saúde is a Brazilian NGO that provides assistance to indigenous communities in regions far from the Amazon, performing surgeries and quality treatments so that these communities can maintain their key role in protecting the forest. Guardians of the Forest captures the wonderful work that the volunteers do with the support of MSLGROUP ANDREOLI.


About Expedicionários da Saúde (EDS)

Brazilian Health Expeditions (EDS) is a Brazilian non-profit organization created in 2003 by a group of volunteer physicians in Campinas, São Paulo. Registered as a Civil Society Public Interest Organization (OSCIP), EDS implemented, in 2004, the program Operating in Amazon through a partnership with the Special Indigenous Sanitary District (DSEI) and indigenous organizations responsible for coordinating basic healthcare in the region.

The agency has been present in Brazil for over 20 years and operates in 14 Latin American countries with its own operations and a wide network of affiliated agencies. Paulo Andreoli is the founder and President of MSLGROUP Andreoli, a firm he created in 1993.
