Virtual Reality in Public Relations

MSLGROUP and PRWeek are collaborating on a fascinating hands-on event session on Monday, March 14 at 11 a.m. on the subject of Virtual Reality in the PR industry. One of the world’s top social media evangelists and futurists, Robert Scoble, will be appearing on our panel along with Jon Hackett, Director of Emerging Technology at our sister agency, Nurun, Mitch Gelman, VP, Product, Gannett, USA TODAY Network, Jim Marggraff, Founder and CEO, Eyefluence, Panelist and Tara Kriese, Senior Director, Marketing, Samsung Electronics America. Jeff Melton, MSLGROUP’s global leader for technologies and tools will moderate the discussion.

We expect to be adding some additional panelists in the coming days. And we will showcase some of the latest virtual reality tools and platforms in the MSLGROUP mini-lab to give participants a hands-on experience.

Virtual Reality has moved past niche stage to become a practical communications tool that must be explored and incorporated by everyone in the PR industry.

A guide to help PR and marketing pros get started in VR would be worth its weight in gold, but it doesn’t really exist. Until now!

At the end of this two-hour exclusive event, presented by MSLGROUP and PRWeek, you will be far more educated and prepared to utilize this emerging tool to take your programs to another level.

In the first hour, an exciting panel discussion will highlight topics including:

  • The basic requirements for a VR starter kit
  • Best practices
  • Lessons from brands who are using it
  • Predictions for future development
